vm_soc_connect

Syntax

int vm_soc_connect(
    int sock, 
    SOCKADDR* addr, 
    int addrlen
);

Description

Connects a socket to a remote host.

Parameters

Parameters	Description
int sock	[IN] The descriptor of the socket to be connected.
SOCKADDR* addr	[IN] The socket address to be connected to the socket specified by sock.
int addrlen	[IN] The size of the socket address.

Return Values

Return Values	Description
VM_SOC_SUCCESS	Success.
VM_SOC_INVALID_SOCKET	Invalid socket ID.
VM_SOC_INVAL	Socket is not calling soc_listen.
VM_SOC_WOULDBLOCK	Non-blocking.
VM_SOC_CONNABORTED	Server socket cannot receive anymore.
VM_SOC_BEARER_FAIL	Bearer broken.
VM_SOC_ERROR	Unspecified error.
